Madeby competitions

Madeby competitions work as a constant generator of references,
allowing participants to explore diverse ideas, concepts, and approaches. Each call expands the collective imagination of the sector.

The submitted projects form a living archive of references, designed to inspire new ways of designing. At Madeby, we promote a more independent and varied creativity, moving away from dominant standardization and encouraging freer, more diverse, and experimental solutions.

Each Madeby competition is structured around a brief and a series of references that serve as a starting point for the creative process. Participants develop their proposals with full interpretative freedom, allowing and encouraging a plurality of ideas and approaches.

The proposals are evaluated by a jury of industry professionals, who select the most outstanding projects.

Madeby awards monetary prizes at different levels and publicly recognizes dozens of projects in each edition, highlighting both the work and creativity of their authors as well as the authors themselves.

Madeby 247 is an initiative in a digital magazine format designed to showcase what is worth seeing: from talks and exhibitions to Instagram accounts, objects, and even music videos.

It allows us to maintain a more dynamic and up-to-date connection with our community, continuing to offer a wider range of references in a more accessible way.

We collaborate with artists and creatives on the design of the covers, giving them complete freedom to redesign them with each edition. It is also a space we use to continue recognizing the talent of those who create them.
